Graduated in Social Communication. Post-graduate in Marketing. Master in Political Science.

He began his career as a journalist on the radio stations of the Renascença Group and as a reporter in the extinct weekly newspaper “O Independente”.

Later, he moved to the “Diário Económico” where he performed the functions of Editor of Politics and Big Reporter. For 6 years he dedicated special attention to the world of law having edited several supplements and magazines dedicated to the Portuguese law market. He founded and presented the first television program for lawyers, “Direito a falar ( EconómicoTv).

Speaker at several conferences on advocacy, he promoted an advanced Media Training course for Lawyers together with the business school of ISCTE.

With a vast experience in media coaching and crisis management, he worked for AICEP between 2011/12, where he headed the office of the president of the agency that promotes foreign investment and internationalization of Portuguese companies, having accompanied several business missions in China, Indonesia, Singapore, Angola, Peru, Brazil and Colombia.

His academic career was carried out in the United States (Valley High School), Portugal (Technical University of Lisbon and UCP) and Spain (Complutense Madrid).

He was a consultant at IPSIS Emirec, a Brandia Group company. He founded FxT Consulting in 2013, and in 2017 led the merger of his company with the WPP Group.

Piedade Guimarães

Piedade is the General Manager of clients and part of the management team of Hill+Knowlton Strategies currently assuming transversal support functions. Piedade joined the Hill+Knowlton Strategies in December 2016.​​​ With 20 years of experience, she started her career in the area of ​​Design and Graphic Arts at the newspaper ‘O Semanário’, then moved to the Brandia Central Group as a project manager where she worked in the consumer, banking, telecommunications, food & beverage, political and institutional areas.​​​

She went through the agency Flúor Design where she became Account Director at Think Comunicação and was Country Manager at POPAI Portugal (Non-profit Association for Mkt in Retail) between 2010 and 2011.​​​ In 2011, she moved to OMD digital / FUSE (Omnicom Group) as Project Manager responsible for brand activations ‘on field’, softsponsoring, branded entertainment, social media. In 2014, she joined FxT as Account Director. She has the Advanced Program of the Portuguese Catholic University in Digital Marketing Management.​​

Francisca Seabra

Francisca Seabra is an Account Director for Public Affairs. Since joining Hill+Knowlton Strategies in 2017, Francisca has been the lead director for several accounts including the European Commission, Nespresso, Oliver Wyman, Verisure or Visa. As Account Director, Francisca adopts a specialist approach to dealing with complex agenda planning and executing effective stakeholders’ relations. She provides holistic and integrated solutions for clients dealing with the public sector which extends to matters concerning media relations, strategic consulting and crisis communications. She advises clients on key Portuguese political decision making, public policy issues, and regulatory developments.

Before her role as Account Director at H+K, Francisca served as the Press Advisor to the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs where she led both global and local communication strategies.

Francisca has a background in journalism where she was a Senior Editor at Sol, a Portuguese weekly newspaper; the Executive Director of Feel It, a magazine for Portuguese speaking markets (published in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, and Cape Verde) and lastly, a journalist at LuxWoman, a women’s lifestyle magazine.

Francisca graduated from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (1998, Portugal) with a Communication Sciences degree. In addition, she holds further qualifications from the Institute of Higher European Studies (1999, The Netherlands) where she specialized in Communications and Politics.

Francisca frequently attends and contributes to research at the Portuguese think-tank, Portugal XXI. She is passionate about environmental issues and actively supports several initiatives to promote a healthy and sustainable way of living.

Margarida Caparica

Margarida joined H+K Strategies in 2005 and is currently Tourism & Lifestyle Practice Leader. She has worked closely with clients such as Nokia, Unilever, Kraft Foods, Georgia Pacific, Henkel BlackBerry or Vila Galé Hotels. ​

Currently, Margarida is responsible for all the strategic planning and coordination of PR activities for several clients such us Emirates, o InterContinental Hotels Group, a Gillette, a Symington Family Estates, Nestlé and OKI.​

Before joining H+K in 2005, Margarida worked seven years as Journalist at Cofina, in top leading publications, both consumer and B2B. ​

Margarida has also experience working for the aviation industry as she worked on the back office for Portugália Airlines.​

Margarida holds a degree in Communications from the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, in Lisbon, is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of Spanish.​

Isabel Freire

With 15 years of experience in communication, Isabel Freire began her professional path as a journalist, having worked at Público and other local media.

She joined the Public Relations world, in 2004, at the Corporate Communication department of the multinational SHL (currently Gartner), based in England. After this experience, she worked in the communication of the Media Studies Research Centre of Universidade do Minho. In 2007, she joined the team of the agency Imago (currently Llorente & Cuenca), where she worked the communication of corporate clients.

Isabel became Communications Consultant at Weber Shandwick Portugal, in 2008, where she managed the accounts of very diverse clients, such as MasterCard, Nestlé, Danone and Asus.

She joined the team of the Edelman affiliated, GCI, in 2011, and, in 2017, she started heading the corporate team. Here, she worked with clients, such as Web Summit, PayPal, Zurich, Michael Page, The Lisbon MBA, European Commission, HP, Motorola Solutions.

In 2019, she joins H+K as a Senior Account Manager. Isabel has a BA in Communication by Universidade do Minho, and an Executive Programme in Advanced Marketing by Católica-Lisbon.
